How to Delete Your Account and Data

📱 Important: All your Routinely data is stored locally on your device. This means you have complete control over your data, and no information is stored on external servers.

Understanding Your Data

When you use Routinely, all your personal information including:

...is stored only on your device. This data is never uploaded to any server or cloud service.

Methods to Delete Your Data

Since all data is stored locally, you can completely remove all your Routinely data using one of the following methods:

Option 1: Uninstall the App

The simplest way to delete all your data is to uninstall the Routinely app from your device.

For Android:

  1. Go to your device's Settings
  2. Tap on Apps or Applications
  3. Find and tap on Routinely
  4. Tap Uninstall
  5. Confirm by tapping OK

Alternative method: Long-press the Routinely app icon on your home screen, then drag it to "Uninstall" or tap the uninstall option.

For iOS (iPhone/iPad):

  1. Find the Routinely app on your home screen
  2. Long-press the app icon until it starts to wiggle
  3. Tap the X or Remove App button
  4. Select Delete App
  5. Confirm by tapping Delete

Option 2: Clear App Data (Keep App Installed)

If you want to start fresh without uninstalling the app, you can clear the app's data.

For Android:

  1. Go to your device's Settings
  2. Tap on Apps or Applications
  3. Find and tap on Routinely
  4. Tap on Storage or Storage & Cache
  5. Tap Clear Data or Clear Storage
  6. Confirm by tapping OK

For iOS (iPhone/iPad):

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Tap on General
  3. Tap on iPhone Storage
  4. Find and tap on Routinely
  5. Tap Offload App then reinstall, or Delete App and reinstall

Note: iOS doesn't have a direct "Clear Data" option. You may need to delete and reinstall the app to clear all data.

Option 3: In-App Data Deletion (If Available)

Routinely may include an in-app option to delete your data:

  1. Open the Routinely app
  2. Go to Settings or Profile
  3. Look for Delete Account or Clear All Data
  4. Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm deletion
⚠️ Warning: Data deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Once you delete your data, all your habit tracking history, progress, and account information will be permanently removed.
